Dunn is a town in Dunn County, Wisconsin, United States. The population in 2022 was 1,480. The unincorporated communities of Downsville and Dunnville are located in the town.
Eau Galle is 5 miles northwest of Durand. The name is adapted from the original name for the Eau Galle River: (Rivière) au Galet, meaning “(river) with the gravel-bank”.
Elk Mound is located at the intersection of Interstate 94, US Highway 12 and State Highway’s 12, 29 & 40, offering convenient access to Menomonie, Eau Claire, and Chippewa Falls.
The Town of Grant has 92% of its land base in agricultural or forest acreage. The beautiful Red Cedar River flows south through the center of the Town.
The first Hay River settlers acquired their land by buying it from the railroad, homesteading it, or having it awarded as payment for services in the War of 1812.
Lucas Town Hall is located at E2301 Hwy 29, Menomonie. Open Tuesdays 3-6 PM & Saturdays 2-5 PM.
The Town of Menomonie had a population of 3561 according to the 2020 Census. The township surrounds the City of Menomonie and includes the village of Irvington.
The Town of New Haven is located in the northwestern most corner of Dunn County. The first early settlers arrived in the area in the early 1860’s. They were mostly lumbermen.
