Formed in 1950, the Dunn County Historical Society discovers, preserves, interprets and shares knowledge about the history of Dunn County and its role in Wisconsin, and inspires interest in the past.
The Rassbach Museum, in Menomonie’s Wakanda Park, is the Society’s home. It tells intriguing, ever-changing stories of an area of Wisconsin with a long and rich history — from the mound builders of a thousand years ago to Dunn County’s friendly communities of today.
Fulton’s Workshop showcases the work of Fulton Holtby, a mechanical and forensic engineer, and expert craftsman. The workshop also features Dunn County inventions, and an interactive maker space for people of all ages to learn, marvel and make.
