About Us
Referred to locally as the “Dunnville Bottoms”, the Dunnville Wildlife Area is a 4200-acre property bound between Menomonie, Durand, and the Chippewa River. The Wildlife Area hosts a variety of habitats and wildlife, such as expansive sand beaches, floodplain forests, backwater sloughs, prairie land, and oak savannas, viewable by hiking, biking, canoeing, or snowmobiling. The Wildlife Area also offers fishing, hunting, and swimming, as well as camping on state-owned islands.
