Come join us for the 2024 Clean Sweep Hazardous Waste Collection Event on September 26th from 2:00 to 6:00 PM!
The event is at the Menomonie Community Services Building and is open to residents of the City of Menomonie, the Town of Menomonie, and the Town of Red Cedar.
The cost of disposal is $10 per vehicle. Payment by cash or check only.

- Batteries – smaller than a car battery in size (no alkaline or car batteries)
- Bulbs – CFL, U-shape, Circular fluorescent, HID, Incandescent, Fluorescent Tubes, LED
- PCB and Non-PCB Ballasts
- Polish and Spot Removers
- Pool Chemicals
- Aerosol Cans (with product remaining, no empty cans)
- Acids/Bases
- Rodent Bait
- Mercury
- Oil and Lead Based Paint (no latex paint)
- Oil-Based Stains and Polyurethanes
